Black Friday is Friday, Nov. 27, 2026, and Small Business Saturday is Nov. 28, the U.S. Small Business Administration says. In Sandy Springs the shopping season starts earlier, with the Sandy Springs Society’s Elegant Elf Marketplace on Nov. 7-8, and ends at the city’s Sparkle Food and Gift Market on Dec. 6.

Elegant Elf Marketplace. Now in its 15th year, the Sandy Springs Society’s two-day market brings 98 vendors of accessories, holiday decor, jewelry, toys and keepsakes, plus food gifts. There is an entry fee, lower online through Nov. 5. Proceeds fund the society’s grants to Sandy Springs nonprofits in the arts, heritage, education, environment and social services. The vendor list is on the society’s Elegant Elf page.

Sandy Springs Night Market. The last of the city’s three evening markets for 2026 brings more than 30 farmers, food producers and artisans to River Springs Shopping Center. Admission is free, the market prefers credit cards, and leashed dogs are welcome on the plaza.

Saturday farmers market. The Sandy Springs Farmers Market runs 8:30 a.m. to noon on Saturdays at City Springs, 1 Galambos Way, rain or shine; see our farmers markets guide for its last dates of the season.

Sparkle Food and Gift Market. Holiday treats, local artwork and gifts inside Sparkle Village on Blue Stone Road and the City Green Plaza on parade day, Sunday, Dec. 6. Black Friday store hours

  • Perimeter Mall, 4400 Ashford Dunwoody Road, just east of Sandy Springs in Dunwoody: more than 150 stores. Black Friday 2026 hours were not posted as of Oct. 5. Its hours page showed 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Saturday and noon to 7 p.m. Sunday for the week of Oct. 5, and notes that individual stores and restaurants may keep different hours.

Small Business Saturday, Nov. 28

Small Business Saturday was founded by American Express in 2010 and has been cosponsored by the SBA since 2011. Sandy Springs’ independent stores and restaurants are spread along Roswell Road and around City Springs; our new businesses page tracks openings. Parking and traffic

  • Perimeter Mall: parking is free, with optional paid preferred spaces. Valet runs Thursday through Sunday at the main entrance. Accessible parking is free with a valid placard or plate. Take Exit 29, Ashford Dunwoody Road, off I-285, or Exit 5A off Georgia 400, according to the mall’s visitor page.
  • City Springs: parking details for the farmers market and Sparkle are on the City Springs parking page.
  • Car break-ins and porch thefts: the Sandy Springs Police Department has said its biggest holiday problem is packages stolen from porches, followed by break-ins of cars with valuables in plain view. It advises putting shopping bags in the trunk and using package lockers, in its holiday safety tips.
