Mexican food in Sandy Springs follows Roswell Road from the Atlanta line to the Chattahoochee, with a cluster around City Springs and Sandy Springs Place. Others sit near Perimeter on Glenridge Drive, Peachtree Dunwoody Road and Alastair Drive, and in the north on Dunwoody Club Drive.
How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Sandy Springs’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 6, 2026. OpenStreetMap misses places, so we also searched the Georgia Department of Public Health inspection database for food service permits inside the city limits. Several restaurant sites blocked our automated check; for those, and for the one with no website, a 2026 Fulton County inspection record confirms the place is operating, and we say so. Many use an Atlanta mailing address but are inside the city. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Run one of these places? Chipotle has two Sandy Springs restaurants for burritos and bowls: at the Parkside center near Hammond Drive and at 4600 Roswell Road near Windsor Parkway.
El Azteca has two restaurants in the city, on Roswell Road and on Peachtree Dunwoody Road near Perimeter. Its site blocked our check; inspection records from July 2026 confirm both are operating.
El Taco Veloz is a Georgia Mexican chain whose menu starts with breakfast plates of eggs, tortillas and beans. Its Roswell Road store opens at 7 a.m. every day.
La Parrilla is a Mexican restaurant chain with a Sandy Springs location on Alastair Drive, off Hammond Drive. Its site blocked our check; a June 29, 2026, inspection record confirms it.
Las Tortas Locas describes itself as a family company serving Mexican food around Georgia. The Roswell Road store is its No. 8.
Los Rancheros is a Mexican restaurant on Dunwoody Club Drive. Its site lists only the address, phone and fax, so call for hours.
Mexico Lindo traces its story to 1984, when members of the founding family moved from Colombia to Atlanta. It has restaurants in Mableton and Sandy Springs and posts monthly specials.
Moe’s Southwest Grill is the burrito chain’s Northridge store, in the shopping center at 8290 Roswell Road.
