Burgers in Sandy Springs are mostly on Roswell Road, between City Springs and Abernathy Road, with more at the north end of the road. Near Perimeter, Hopdoddy and Burger King are on Hammond Drive and a Wendy’s is at Perimeter Pointe; a McDonald’s is on Powers Ferry Road.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Sandy Springs’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 6, 2026. OpenStreetMap misses places, so we also searched the Georgia Department of Public Health inspection database for food service permits inside the city limits. Several chain location pages load their hours only in a browser; for those, a 2026 inspection record confirms the restaurant is operating. We dropped one candidate whose own site no longer lists a Sandy Springs location. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Burger King is the chain’s Hammond Drive restaurant, east of Roswell Road. Its location page did not show hours to us; a May 27, 2026, inspection record confirms it.

Clay’s Sports Cafe lists burgers beside its wings, pizza and subs, with dine-in, takeout and delivery to a limited area.

Five Guys is the burger and fries chain’s Roswell Road store, open from 10 a.m. every day.

Hardee’s is on Roswell Road near Abernathy Road. A June 1, 2026, inspection record confirms it is operating.

Hopdoddy Burger Bar is a sit-down burger restaurant in the Arabelle Perimeter development on Hammond Drive, a short walk from Perimeter Mall. It runs a weekday happy hour from 3 to 6 p.m., dine-in only, and says the plaza has ample parking.

McDonald’s has three restaurants in the city open to the public: 6049 Roswell Road near City Springs, 8745 Roswell Road at Dunwoody Place and 6360 Powers Ferry Road. Inspection records from July and September 2026 confirm all three.

North River Tavern is a sports bar near the north end of Roswell Road that lists craft burgers and jumbo wings first on its menu, with a full bar.

Sonic Drive-In is a drive-in on Roswell Road at No. 5903. An April 8, 2026, inspection record confirms it.

Wendy’s has two restaurants: at Perimeter Pointe on Perimeter Center West, which opens for breakfast at 6:30 a.m., and on north Roswell Road. Both list hours to 1 a.m. on weekend nights.
