Streetlight outages go to Georgia Power too, through its streetlight form, the city says. For billing, moving or starting service, Georgia Power’s customer line is 1-888-660-5890.
Downed lines
Georgia Power says to always assume a downed line is live and life-threatening. Keep children and pets away, do not try to move a tree limb or anything else off a line, and never try to free a person or animal caught in one. Call 911 or Georgia Power at 1-888-891-0938 to have the line barricaded until it is repaired.

Water, sewer and gas
The city does not run water, sewer or gas service either, according to its utilities page.

Atlanta’s watershed department says to call 404-546-0311 immediately for severe water or sewer service problems, and 911 as well for extreme flooding or other safety hazards, according to its emergencies page. Fulton County’s emergency repairs page says the county provides drinking water only north of the Chattahoochee River in north Fulton, and the City of Atlanta serves other areas; it lists 404-612-3061 for north Fulton sewer emergencies.
Atlanta Gas Light runs the pipes, but you buy gas from a certified marketer; the city lists several on its utilities page. Report a gas leak to Atlanta Gas Light, not your marketer.
