Gone fishing

On the Chattahoochee in Sandy Springs, anglers fish from the pier at Morgan Falls Dam, along the riverbanks at Island Ford, where there is also fly and wade fishing, or by boat. Above the dam, Bull Sluice Lake has slower water with backwaters and islands; below it the current is faster. Boat ramps are below Morgan Falls Dam and on the north side of the Johnson Ferry Road bridge, and above the dam at Azalea Park in Roswell. A Georgia fishing license is required.
